NYSC Bars Posting Engineers To Teach In Secondary Schools

The National Youth Service Corps has concluded plans to halt the posting of engineers to secondary schools and other places of primary assignment different from Engineering Institutions. The agreement was reached by the Directorate of NYSC and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Speaking at the Pre-Inauguration stakeholders’ workshop of the 30th President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers held yesterday in Abuja, the President of COREN, Engineer Kashim A. Ali, disclosed that the Council has secured an agreement with the Director General of NYSC to what he referred to as prevention of wrong training of Engineers. He also said that the Director of Mobilization of NYSC has also been notified of the new development and they have fashioned modalities for its success.

Ali said “Posting engineers during their service year to places they will not benefit is depriving them the opportunity of training and by implication the country is losing. The DG of NYSC agreed with us and directed the Director of Mobilization to ensure that engineers are posted to only engineering institutions.

“To help him, the Director of Mobilization requested that we should assist to give them the names of engineering organizations in all the states of the federation so that when they are doing their posting they will send them to such places.”

Some friends or would I say acquaintances are quite shameless. I threw a birthday party @sailors lekki and had prominent friends in attendance including my best friend who didn't hesitate to spend lavishly as he kept ordering drinks and food. An interesting new study has found the relationship between women that use emojis and women who are constantly horny.

Match.com polled 5,000 users on a variety of dating habits and the study shows that people who use emojis are hornier than non-emojiers.

The study also found out that emoji users think about sex more frequently and actually do it more often than those who stick to plain old text messaging.

The data also shows that only 13 percent of women who say they never use emojis had sex “at least monthly” in 2014, while 46 percent of those who use more than one emoji in every text get it on at least once a month.

Surprisingly, emojis are more effective for dudes - a whopping 64 percent of male emoji fanatics are getting laid regularly.

Switzerland To Transfer $300Million Abacha Loot To Nigeria – Minister

The government of Switzerland is prepared to transfer to the Nigerian government, another $300 million recovered from the family of former military ruler, Sani Abacha, foreign minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, announced Monday.
The money is part of an estimated $5 billion stolen and stashed in foreign accounts by the late dictator.
Nigeria has in the last 10 years received over $1 billion from the Swiss and American governments, but there are growing concerns past administrations misused the huge sum.
PREMIUM TIMES reported in December 2015 how former finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, with the approval of former President Goodluck Jonathan, authorised the diversion of at least N61.4 billion ($300 million and £5.5 million) from funds recovered from Mr. Abacha, to the Office of the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, few weeks before the 2015 presidential election.
The former minister said the money, which was not approved by the National Assembly, was meant for purchase of military equipment for the fight against Boko Haram.
The money is believed to be part of at least $2.1 billion slush fund later distributed by Mr. Dasuki to politicians ahead of the polls. An ongoing investigation into the scandal as led to the indictment of several high profile figures.

Boko Haram's Failed Attack At Prophet TB Joshua's Synagogue Church Of All Nations Today!

 

A young man allegedly a bomber sent by Boko Haram to cause havoc  at Synagogue Church Of All Nations confessed LIVE on Prophet TB Joshua's Emmanuel TV today!

According to the man who identified himself as Mustapha from Adamawa State, he and 4 others had been sent to blow up the church. He said when 5 of them eventually got to the SCOAN junction, they tried to give
one mallam a bag to keep which was containing a metre bomb, but the mallam refused.

So they entered a restaurant wich was very close to church. They were eating and watching SCOAN when the man of God started praying for viewers. He said the prayers caused confusion. 4 of them took off but Mustapha was arrested by the power God and he came inside the church and started confessing, telling the congragation how TB Joshua scattered their plans.

Popular Fuji Musician, Obesere Arrested For Rape

The Fuji musician has been accused of rape by a lady know as Miss Olaiya. Olaiya said she was introduced to the musician so he could help her with her business. Long story short, she spent the night in his house after the musician advised it was too late for her to go back home that night. Obesere later came to the room she was and allegedly pounced on her forcefully, and inserted a ring he wore on one of his figures in her private part after making love to her, which made her to start bleeding. This Man Used to be Gay till Someone Set him Ablaze. Now He is a Woman! (Photos)

Tori Banks (lady pictured above) used to be a gay man called Russell. A 23-year-old male model and part-time barman in his prime – popular, happy and looking forward to a career in theatre.

But one dark day a random evil thug called Mitchell Dean destroyed his world. Dean ran into the pub where Russell worked, threw lighter fuel in his face and set him ablaze.

Russell was left with 30 per cent burns to his upper body and kept in a coma with little chance of survival. When he did fight back from the brink of death and saw himself in the mirror, he ­contemplated suicide.

Then, from somewhere stretching back into his ­childhood, a ray of hope emerged.

Tori explains: 

“I didn’t want to go on living because the attack had taken every last ounce of my identity away from me. I didn’t look or feel like Russell any more. Then something ­life-changing happened. One night I was at home when I thought that to carry on I had to be someone else. Someone better. I realised it was a clean slate and a chance to be anything I wanted. That thing wasn’t a gay man any more – it was a woman.

Everything in me told me that. I looked back at the way I was as a child – always opting for girly clothes and toys. I remembered realising I fancied boys for the first time and being told by people I was gay, so that was what I accepted. But deep down it wasn’t that. I was born in the wrong body, but I’d suppressed it.”

Russell realised there was no going back. So Tori must go forward.

“I found ­something inside myself that night stronger than I ever imagined. Russell died in those flames but I hadn’t. I was still alive and I had a chance to start again. Everything I used to be had been stripped away and I was left with one thing – a woman. Tori was the phoenix rising from the ashes.”

Now Tori is preparing to start her clinical sex-change next week after 18 months proving she can live as a woman.

According to DailyMail, 30 years old Emily Lambert, an elementary school teacher had traveled from her hometown in Garland, Texas, on Friday, to Carlsbad, New Mexico to visit her boyfriend Robert Earley for the weekend.

Happy and excited, Emily called her parents to tell them she was ok, then she and boyfriend Robert went out
for some drinks. They visited a bar where another man reportedly flirted with Emily. And unfortunately, when they got home, all hell was let loose because of that.

The couple got into a very violent fight, Emily bit Robert, Robert got so mad he kicked her in the mouth multiple times, punching her. Emily became unconscious, a furious Robert loaded her into his car and drove off to an undisclosed remote location.

I just thought to share my very unpleasant experience with fellow readers. I used to hear horror stories about Nigerian nurses and hospitals, I used to think some were merely exaggerations and myths- however, I was astounded to learn  that  it might be true afterall, and then some-at least I can deduce that from my experience this past month.

My father was to undergo surgery at the Orthopedic hospital in Lagos last month (February2014). While he was being prepped for surgery, the doctors informed us that his blood sugar level was very high so surgery was postponed.
